HELLO! Welcome to my private practice LUMINOUS PSYCHIATRY. I'm Heather Curtis MD and I believe that "Life is art in motion."

I work as a psychiatrist specializing in Integrative Medicine and the treatment of mental illness, depression, anxiety, and trauma. My work has been strongly influenced by my life's experiences, my travels, Eastern and Western traditions, and is rooted in the basis of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Hi, I'm Heather Curtis MD. I am a dedicated mental health provider devoted to empowering those I serve to live happier and healthier lives. In residency, I pursued additional training and certification in Global Mental Health, Integrative Medicine, and Traumatology with an emphasis on veteran trauma, sexual violence, and global mental health.
Post residency I have worked as a Medical Director delivering inpatient psychiatric services and as Executive Director of I THRIVE Incorporated, my nonprofit serving survivors of sexual violence, illness, and trauma. I incorporate multiple evidence-based therapeutic modalities into my practice of psychiatry and look forward to serving you here, at LUMINOUS PSYCHIATRY tele-psychiatry services.
